But their latest batch of resolutions makes one thing clearer than ever: Wiersma and Komrosky are more interested in fueling a culture war than preparing students for the real world.

When Jen Wiersma and Joseph Komrosky ran for the Temecula Valley Unified School Board, they wrapped themselves in the language of conservatism: limited government, parental rights, fiscal responsibility, and traditional values.

But once in office, their actions told a different story.

Their tenure has been marked not by thoughtful stewardship or principled governance — but by impulsive decisions, reckless spending, disregard for the rule of law, and a total failure to deliver results for students.

As the failures mounted—court losses, rescinded policies, wasted taxpayer dollars—Temecula Valley Unified trustees Jen Wiersma and Joseph Komrosky didn’t accept responsibility.

They attacked.

The Temecula Valley Unified School District (TVUSD) Board of Trustees is set to convene on Tuesday, June 10, for a meeting heavy with policy revisions, budgetary maneuvers, and controversial legal agreements — continuing what many parents and community observers see as a politicized drift away from student-centered governance.

“What is harmful about the status quo should the preliminary injunction issue?” the court asked, pointing to the lack of evidence that CRT had ever been taught in the district. “Defendants’ appellate counsel conceded at oral argument that there is no evidence that any of the Resolution’s enumerated elements or concepts of CRT have ever been taught in District schools.”
